Aterlo Networks Featured on CBC News Website & CBC Radio KW 89.1 during the morning show with Craig Norris!

Waterloo, ON – We, at Aterlo Networks, couldn’t have asked for a better start to the first working week of 2017. After our recent story on The Record, Waterloo region’s largest English daily, we had the privilege to discuss our recent project in Nunavut on the CBC Network!

Dan Siemon, Co-founder and VP-Product management at Aterlo was invited to join CBC Radio KW’s popular morning show host Craig Norris¬†this morning around 8 am. Dan introduced our NightShift solution to the listeners and explained how our partnership with Meshnet, Nunavut-based ISP allows remote communities to access high-quality Netflix streaming video. On Craig’s question about permission from Netflix to do this legally, Dan explained that we serve exactly the same files as Netflix players and in no way break the copyright or legal aspects associated with Netflix content. If a customer doesn’t have a valid subscription to Netflix at all times, they can’t subscribe to our NightShift service. To hear the complete interview, please click below:
